Queen Street runs through the heart of Portsea, so for most Old Portsmouth and Portsea patients we are the nearest weight management service there is — no travelling out of the city.
From the High Street and Broad Street end of Old Portsmouth it is a ten to fifteen minute walk up through Portsea to the dispensary, or a couple of minutes by car. Patients living on the St George's Square and Queen Street terraces are often at the counter in under five.
That closeness changes how the care works in practice. We see a lot of Portsea patients for their follow-up reviews face to face rather than remotely, which makes weight checks and honest conversations about what is and is not working much easier than a message thread would.
Everything is dispensed from the same registered premises you walk into, so there is no third-party warehouse in the chain. Same-day collection is standard here; delivery is there if you would rather not come in.
